The Adelaide Rep is hosting a special season of George Bernard Shaw's classic play 'Misalliance' this September.

Running from the 11th to 20th of September 2014, 'Misalliance' is a funny, ironic examination of the mating instincts of a varied group of people in Victorian England.

Hypatia is engaged to a young aristocrat and has also had a scandalous proposal from his father, but she is restless.

Her fiance is clever and interesting but is that enough? She longs for some adventure to drop out of the sky...and so it does, when a plane lands in the conservatory during a weekend house party.

The plane's passengers, a handsome young pilot and a Polish lady acrobat, shake up the party considerably.

The production is directed by Brian Knott.

Tickets are now on sale and are priced $22 for Adults and $17 for Concession Cardholders.
