Event:
Family fun & factory walk throughs
This February will be the 50th anniversary of Australia's changeover to decimal currency. To celebrate, the Royal Australian Mint in Deakin will be hosting an Open Day, where visitors get the chance to walk through the factory ($5 entry, kids under 16 free) and be able to see the Mints coin designers at work with their pop-up coin studio.

There will be also be a Coin Designer Masterclass you can attend and Coin Dealer Showcase - so bring along any old coins you have and see how much they are worth.

There will be kids entertainment all day, so take the family to learn more about where Australia's coins are made and have fun at this celebratory Open Day on February 13.
