The Aboriginal Literacy Foundation works towards a future where all Indigenous children can reach their full potential and contribute to their community and the country and it starts with education, literacy and numeracy. An independent not-for-profit charitable organisation, the ALF rely on the generous support of and donations from the community to achieve its work.

They are passionate in their belief of the power of literacy as a means to unlock doors and conquer poverty. This is turn can only empower the children so that they have the confidence and self determination to make choices and achieve their personal goals. To develop a spirit of belonging, community, cooperation and active participation and to have the same opportunities as everyone else. All this while respecting the Indigenous culture and the traditional Indigenous education system.

Nice that it includes a snack for the movie as well. Great idea for making movie-going give back.
