Minions, one of the most anticipated computer-animated movie releases of 2015 is set to take over the winter school holidays with Minion related activities popping up all over the city.
The Langham invites all the little minions in Melbourne to join a special themed High Tea at the award winning Area Bar & Lounge, in what could be the most lavish way to celebrate Despicable Me's spin-off.
Children's themed morning and afternoon high teas at The Langham have become a school holiday tradition for many Melbourne families, with sell-out sessions attracting visitors from far and wide. The Minions High Tea at Aria Bar & Lounge will embrace all things Minion, with goggle cupcakes, blue overall cookies, bananaaaa sticks, Scarlet Villain jelly, "It's so fluffy" fairy floss and Evil Minion cake pops as well as fairy bread, fluffy scones and pineapple juice or hot chocolate for liquid refreshment.
There are two high tea sittings each weekday from 29 June until 17 July:
Morning 10am to 11:30am, or Afternoon 12pm -1.30pm.
The Minions High Tea is priced at $35.00 per child or $49.00 including a Minion toy to take home. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult and grown-ups pay $59 for the classic Afternoon Tea, which includes: chocolate dipped strawberries, candied fruit tea cake, chocolate eclair, seasonal fruit tart, lemon curd tart, champagne truffle, smoked salmon pin wheel sandwich, free range chicken sandwich, cucumber and cress sandwich, egg & mayonnaise sandwich, cream cheese & chive sandwich, scones with fruit jam and clotted cream.
