Minihans Reserve is a big play area for the locals of Cranbourne to enjoy, which includes a walking track, rest seats, rotunda with barbecue facilities, goal posts for sports and a playground for the kids. It is a great place to catch up with family and friends as the place is open for kids and animals to explore and burn off energy.
My nieces and nephews enjoy coming to this playground because the equipment is a lot of fun to play on - their favourite is the flying fox.
The open grass space at this park is great for a game of football, as they have goal posts. A game of football is very popular among the children and the park can be quite busy during warmer months with lots of locals visiting the park.
There is a small carpark adjacent to the park, otherwise, you can park in surrounding streets as they all lead up to the reserve including Lamont Crescent, Chomley Avenue, and Evelyn Street.
With plenty of seating around the park including undercover, parents will love the openness plus the shade and lovely trees surrounding. Kids who are too big for the playground can still have fun riding their bike or scooter around the path that surrounds the equipment.
Overall, this reserve is a favourite of ours and provides lots of fun for kids.
