Ancient tales told with the music of the frozen north

Due to popular demand and fresh off an incredible show in Hobart at the Festival of Voices, Elephant in the Room Productions is proud to revive Midnight Sun: An Evening of Icelandic Myth and Music for one night only.

A celebration of Icelandic culture from ancient vikings through to the modern day, Midnight Sun sold out at the South Australian Museum in May 2018. Don't miss out this time - book your tickets now!

Odin, Thor, Freya, Loki. These names are legendary, but do you really know their story?

Midnight Sun brings together the tales of the old gods with sublime vocal music. Enjoy an evening of Nordic myths and beautiful music that stretches all the way from the poetry of the ancient Vikings to the modern musical stylings of Bjork and Jonsi.

Featuring 8 accomplished singers in the sublime acoustics of the South Australian Maritime Museum, Midnight Sun is an unmissable live music event. Take a musical journey from the birth of Odin through to Ragnarok: The Twilight of the Gods.

Come hear these ancient tales told with the music of the frozen north. For one night only the stunning South Australian Maritime Museum at Port Adelaide will become the land of the Midnight Sun.

Midnight Sun: An Evening of Icelandic Myth and Music takes place on Saturday 25th August, 7pm at South Australian Maritime Museum.

Tickets are now on sale and are priced $35 full price or $30 concession (booking fees may apply). Secure your tickets today at eitr.online/MidnightSun.
