Take some time out for yourself and come along to a 4-hour mini meditation retreat at a beautiful and picturesque country retreat near Toodyay or a new academy close to the city in Wangara.

You will discover some simple and effective ways to meditate and/or refine your existing meditation techniques at the Mini Meditation Retreat. Meditation helps you to relax, builds self-confidence and enables you to live in the present moment.

Some of the tools you will discover on the day include how to still the mind from mental chatter and the inner critic, being more heart-connected and accepting and loving of self and setting appropriate boundaries and how to manage toxic people and situations.

Mini Meditation Retreats are held monthly and each retreat has its own unique theme and focus. The retreat in Wangara is held on the second Sunday of the month and near Toodyay on the last Sunday of the month.

    Facilitators Tanya Servaas and Rupert Guenther, are qualified mentors and coaches with extensive meditation experience both personally and professionally, are passionate about facilitating the mini meditation retreats because they are able to share with participants something they love that has helped them over many years.

    "Learning how to meditate was a turning point in my life", said Tanya. "I feel more relaxed and I can respond to life more calmly because I feel more present, grounded and in my heart. Participants attending the mini meditation retreat will discover some simple, practical and empowering meditation tools that they can use in their lives."

    "We have been offering these retreats now for a few years at various locations around Perth and hundreds of people have really enjoyed and benefited from the experience. We are excited to announce that our Mini Meditation Retreats has two new homes - one at a new and beautiful international music academy in Wangara and the other at a beautiful picturesque country retreat near Toodyay, where you are surrounded by pastures, winding hills, beautiful trees, red dirt, kangaroos (when they visit the property which is most days) and birds singing.     The cost of the retreat is only $140 inclusive of GST (plus BF on Eventbrite) or come with a friend and pay $120 each inclusive of GST (plus BF on Eventbrite). Afternoon tea is provided and an optional meet and greet with our friendly farm animals when you come to Toodyay, which includes two affectionate pet sheep, mini goats, donkeys and alpacas.
