at Grand Central Shopping Centre. These school holidays get the kids up close and personal with giant insects at Mini Beasts within the Grand Central Shopping Centre. You can even listen to the magnified sounds that are made by insects which you wouldn't normally be able to hear.

I'm quite glad that the Australian Jumping Spider isn't real, since he's as tall as I am. Learn about their curiosity and strong, leaping legs. Two of the beasts are inside the store and two are displayed in the Central Square - near the lawn and gardens outside the ground level. One of these is the Swallowtail Butterfly with brightly coloured wings, the largest butterfly in the region. He certainly is. The Neon Cuckoo Bee is very pretty humming to itself. A singing Cicada rounds off the insects.

Have fun with the children hunting for Mini Beasts, that illuminate when you are near. All the beasts are on the ground level, indoors outside Bank of Queensland and Best and Less.
