Minecraft 100 @ Powerhouse Museum

The Powerhouse Museum has brought you Game Masters for all those gaming fans but is now going one step further by bringing you Minecraft 100.

If you purchase a ticket for the event on 5-6 April at 10:30am to 4 or 12-27 April from 10:30am to 3:30pm, you can be part of a new challenge where up to 100 players will join the Powerhouse Museum's specially made mod 'Powercraft' to work together and show off the mad Minecraft skills you know you have.


If you are a Minecraft fan (and come one who isn't?) you have probably seen a whole truckload of mods that are pretty much out of this world. If you come along you can make your own anything and have 99 other people see your Minecraft genius.

Take a look at the previous Minecraft entries . They're very impressive I assure you.


If you're a parent and you're wondering if your child will be ok, the whole event is supervised with helpful staff to aid with any technical glitches as well as there being designated recess/lunch breaks for any kids who really get into the game that they forget to eat.


The event is for children aged seven and up (this does not mean you can't be a teenager who still loves the game) and costs $100, or $90 for members (you can get membership here ).
