For six months of the year Mindil beach, Darwin becomes a hive of activity twice a week. is held on the foreshore before dusk every Thursday and Sunday night from the end of April to the end of October.

Immerse yourself in the buzzing atmosphere of with over 200 stalls, live entertainment and children's activities. Mindil's market contributes to the local Northern Territory economy providing employment to over 1000 locals. Here you can buy anything imaginable from souvenirs, clothing, Asian food and even a digeridoo.

Inspired by Asia's night markets Mindil Market was established in 1987. It offers open air picnic areas, seating, information booth, onsite ATM and even corporate function area with ocean views.
