Mindfulness Made Simple – 3-Hour Workshop

Multitasking, meeting deadlines, achieving Key Performance Indicators while juggling family responsibilities are increasingly affecting our ability to lead and have a healthy work-life balance. Given these circumstances, do we have any hope of ever being able to be truly on top of it all?
The biggest ill of the modern age is overthinking or compulsive thinking. It is estimated that there are about 60 thoughts that come into our heads per minute and we are constantly acting on and reacting to each. We are mostly unmindful of this constant mind chatter. This puts an enormous strain on the body and our organs. The majority of these thoughts are of things that occurred in the past or things that will happen in the future. Both these states of mind create anxiety, fear and stress. It inhibits us from functioning aptly within society.
The challenge for us humans in this modern digital age is to master the art of being mindful. By being mindful, you can get more done without feeling the usual stress and anxiety.
Santosh Nambiar , the well-known author of ' A New Way of Living' (Hay House Publications) 'Life A Meditation', 'Taking your life from Mediocrity to Creativity' and 'In between thoughts' is presenting an interactive one-day workshop Mindfulness Made Simple' on Saturday, 13th October 2018 at Hawthorn Community Precinct.Santosh is also a Registered Mindfulness Teacher with the Meditation Association of Australia. In this engaging and informative workshop, running from 10 am to 1pm, Santosh will also detail the following topics, as well as a simple but powerful meditation practice that can recondition the brain and bring peace, clarity, order and creativity in the demanding and chaotic world we live today.[BREAK]"The conventions are logical & simple, allowing readers to easily and quickly put each practice to use in their daily lives"- San Francisco Chronicle[BREAK]Come along and discover:& #10003 ; How to live in the present and enjoy each moment to the full.& #10003 ;How to deal with fear, anger, anxiety and stress and rediscover a life of well-being.& #10003 ; How to quiet your mind's incessant background chatter and deal with difficult thoughts and emotions.& #10003 ; How to end confusion and conflicts in our head and discover our own brain full of clarity and creativity in all aspects of our life.& #10003 ; Brain Management and Creativity: How to access our own innate intelligence for higher creativity.[BREAK]"As a yoga teacher with over two decades of experience, I feel that it contains valuable teachings on how to live a more conscious life and how to maximize one's full creative potential." - Fiona Hyde, Principal of Williamstown Yoga and Meditation.[BREAK]Santosh will share helpful pointers which he has made use of in his own life situations, as noted in his book 'In between thoughts' which explores how to live a more mindful life and how to maximize one's full creative potential.[BREAK]"In the book, ' In between thoughts ' Nambiar explains how humans cripple themselves with self-imposed limitations--of how human intellect operates against the wisdom of the universe.
