Change Yoga studio is holding an afternoon of Mindfulness this March, which will feature not only Meditation but also Yoga. Mindfulness and yoga are both be tools which many people use in order to try to create a more peaceful and connected life.
In this workshop, Aimee (a yoga and mindfulness teacher) will approach mindfulness in a relaxed way by discussing the basic premises of the practice and the benefits that could come from practising mindfulness. After establishing the benefits, Aimee will go on to provide practical ways in which the attendees can use mindfulness in their everyday lives. Although there won't just be one approach to mindfulness discussed, Aimee will discuss a variety of approaches to mindfulness.
From mindfulness, the class will then move onto another useful tool to create calm in the mind and body - yoga. The class will be guided through a mindful yoga flow on the mat, before going into a series of short meditations, which will seek to reconnect the mind and body.
This workshop is bound to leave you more grounded and calm, making it the perfect "me time" activity!
