Have some Christmas fun at the Marina
The Mindarie Marina Christmas Festival will be held on Saturday 12th December at Ocean Falls Boulevard in Mindarie.
This is the second year that this community festival will be held, providing free entertainment for the whole family.
The highlight of the day is Santa arriving by boat at 1.30pm.
There will be live music at The Boat and Indian Ocean Brewing Company, as well as carolling on the Boardwalk.
The Boardwalk markets run from 12pm until 6pm and will feature over 40 stalls offering a array of speciality items, handcrafted jewellery, kid's clothes, gourmet delights, fashions and accessories, arts and crafts, with tasty snacks.
On stage will be performing Dynamix and Chris Murphy plus a special live performance by Peter Moyes Project Ensemble.
The popular Kids Zone will have Santa, a crafty corner with bouncy castle and face painting. There will be wandering entertainers and Santa's helpers will be handing out free balloons and lollies for the kids throughout the day.
Kids can get a professional photo with Santa this Christmas from 2pm onwards in the Kids Zone for a small fee in support of Whitfords Sea Rescue. Also the first 100 children to get a photo with Santa will receive a special gift from Ocean Keys Shopping Centre.
There will be a raffle draw with funds going to the Whitfords Sea Rescue. The prize is one night at Mindarie Marina in a one bedroom spa suite.
