Moreton Bay's co-working space will surge with exhibits, refreshments and delightful things to buy this Saturday, when local Numerologist Karen Riley brings her Mind, Body & Soul Expo to town.
Come by The Hive from 10am to 3pm and you will meet renowned Spiritual Guides and Wellbeing Practitioners. Immerse your senses in a pot of organic tea and explore the stalls.
Event organiser Karen Riley has applied her mind to Numerology for the past 18 years and is excited to be bringing her craft along with others' abilities and products to the Peninsula. "Fernwood Fitness Centre at Rothwell will be there, giving out smoothie samples," says Karen. "And we've got the renowned Francie Griffin who will be painting people's spiritual guides."
Karen says its good to take a step back and examine how healthy our body and mind really is. "We often stop ourselves from finding the peace we seek. It's about having a strong sense of self and looking deep into our minds for what we want - not what we tell ourselves we want, but what we truly want."
The independent community event asks for a gold coin donation on entry, with the funds to go to champion rifle shooter Tracey Jackson.
When Tracey was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy, she vowed she would never stop aiming for the top. She has competed for Australia for more than two years now, with the help and support of MD Qld, Kippa-Ring Lions Club and many volunteers. "I met Tracey when I was working with Blue Care, around the time that I decided to relaunch my pathway with Numerology," says Karen. "I've always had a community heart and used to run ladies pampering expos. So when Tracey asked for help with fundraising, I said- well! Why not a Ladies Pampering expo? And the idea evolved from there."
Tracey is raising funds to purchase a Specially Modified Wheelchair Vehicle that will suit her needs and keep her independent for at least another 10 years.
Wow , I feel very blessed to have such lovely people who are willing to give their time to help me reach my fundraising goal. The vehicle I'm fundraising for is designed and fitted to allow me to drive the vehicle without using the steering wheel. This will help me keep some of my independence, I truly can't wait for the day when I get to take that first drive by myself. Something I haven't been able to do for many . It may sound strange to most people but its going to be an amazing feeling to be able to get out and about on my own.
so thank you Karen and all those who helping reach my goal.
