Mills Beach is a favourite of mine, with an amazing outlook, crystal clear blue water and bright beach boxes dotted along the golden sand.

Mills Beach is the perfect family beach, with shallows for littlies to play, rock pools for the older children to discover star fish, crabs and other sea creatures.

It's not hard to imagine this becoming your favourite beach. If you have never been here before, you must put it on your to do list.
Mornington surf lifesaving club

Mills Beach is located 1 km north of Mornington Pier and is home to the Mornington Surf Lifesaving Club which was established in 1914. Volunteers patrol the beach over the summer months as well as selling drinks and ice creams from the kiosk.

Nippers, seniors and summer swimming lessons are also held at the club.

Homes overlooking Mills are some of the most desirable in Mornington (and the most expensive). Beach boxes sell for an average of $160,000, however the price varies greatly depending on size, location and market trends.

With great views, ice creams and cold drinks all come together for a great summer's day at Mills Beach.

If you want to live here come and inspect brand new apartments at Macartans Place. We moved in last year and it is really an amazing position. It's so close to shops, cinema, the boat harbour (hire a kayak), stroll along the beach, take the children to the park. The sunsets are amazing and it's only an hour from Melbourne CBD.

Being pedantic I know. It will be a Life Saving Club at Mornington, not a Surf Lifesaving Club. SLSCs are on ocean beaches. Life Saving Clubs look after "still water" beaches or those that don't have "Surf"
