Enrich your mind and excite your tastebuds
If you're a book lover there is nothing more enjoyable than sitting down in a cosy chair with a cup of something tasty, to get lost in the depths of a good story. At the Millpoint Caffe Bookshop on Millpoint Road in South Perth, you can indulge your love of books, tea or coffee, and food all at once. Bingo!

The Millpoint Caffe Bookshop is primarily an independent book shop full of exciting titles for young and old, and secondly a cafe, albeit a very successful one judging by table occupancy the times I've visited. The shop prides itself on having an in-house children's literature specialist, Celia Cole. Parents of reluctant readers, or children themselves, can consult Celia or her list of recommended literature in store.
Books, glorious books
Meanwhile, to the left of the shop, the cafe serves an extensive selection of classic cafe breakfasts and lunches, freshly squeezed juices, Fiori coffee, teas and (my favourite) cakes. Gluten free cakes are also available for the coeliacs among us.

The Millpoint Caffe Bookshop caters not only for foodies and book buyers but also for book clubs. They hold regular book club meetings in store, while independent book clubs can also reserve the space when it's convenient for them. Discounts are offered to book clubs that operate in and out of the store, check here for details.
