New to Canberra, I love exploring this city and the secrets that it holds with my family.
Raise money & enjoy the festivities at Stage 88
The RSPCA Million Paws Walk is back for the ninth year, bigger and better than ever to raise money to stop animal cruelty. Enjoy a day of festivities with their first ever "Paw-lympic Games" (including doggie hurdles and track and field events) and the Mini-Paws Walk (a 1.5km walk for smaller and older dogs who find 5km too far). The festivities begin at 9am at Stage 88, with the official walk beginning at 11am.
The 5km walk takes dogs and owners on a leisurely route around the central basin of Lake Burley Griffin (also known as the Bridge to Bridge) before returning to Stage 88 to enjoy the festivities. Here you will enjoy live music and see prizes awarded for best dressed pooch and owner. There will be over 50 stalls selling food and dog-related products and a dog wash available to spruce up your doggie on the day. See the Million Paws Walk ACT website for all the details.
