If you're feeling blue, head into the , Toowoomba, where the upbeat rock music will help blow the cobwebs away.

In the cabinet are lots of gourmet muffins with a twist. Plus other selections for sugar hits, including scrumptious danishes. The choc-orange muffin has crunchy zest and a decent layer of chocolate topping. Coffee is fairly strong, mellow in flavour and excellent with raw sugar.

You can keep up with the news on the big television screen while you breakfast on homemade crumpets with maple syrup (only $10) or perhaps corn fritters with potato and egg ($14), or simply muesli. It's all-day breakfast, so you can sleep in as late as you like.

For lunch, who can resist crispy salmon with blistered tomato, watercress, radicchio, radish and walnut? Seafood meals are $16. Toasted paninis are plentiful, with fillings of your choice. Healthy wraps and quiches are tempting too.

If you're planning a function, Milk & Honey's catering boast 'no soggy sandwiches'. Healthy lunches and Barista coffee are the go. They also have an upstairs boardroom for that special meeting.

The staff are happy and friendly and the service is brisk. The clientele are varied and they clearly love the place. Work meetings are popular, plus the young, the old and even the odd joggers drop in for their caffeine, chill and chat. Or, it's just somewhere handy away from the office, to work on your computer. It's out of the way from the city centre where cafés are scarce, so it's like your own secret place to meet.

The cafe is pretty with hanging plants, mirrors and bold stripy outdoor brollies. And the extra long lounges with comfy cushions are so inviting. All this and they are only one year young.

To brighten up your working week, rock into the one morning with colleagues, for a meeting with difference.
