There's something appealing about ordering a burger from a container in the middle of the city. After reading about Miel in the paper months ago, I've been meaning to go and check it out and finally got a chance last week. And wasn't it delicious! It's hard to beat a good burger, and Miel sure didn't disappoint.

Located on Mary Street (near the corner of Albert) you'll find the red container.



Open for both lunch and dinner, this popular licensed burger joint will leave you wanting more. The menu gives you the option of designing your own burger (compliments to the chef, aka, me) or selecting one of the classic burgers (they all sound delicious!). The options are endless when you design your own burger, including the type of bun & meat (or veggie option), a nice selection of grilled vegetables and salad items, an assortment of cheese, additional toppings and sauce. With a range of sides, snacks and share plates, you're spoilt for choice.



All burgers come rustically served on a slate plate, with a small amount of beer battered chips and sauce on the side. On this occasion, I opted to make my own. A ciabatta bun, with a homemade grass fed beef pattie, grilled pumpkin, grilled zucchini, mesculan lettuce with a delicious red capsicum relish. Yum!



Service is fast and attentive and they definitely keep up with the line of hungry burger connoisseurs waiting with watering mouths.

The only negative? Trying to work out what combination to order! Guess I'll just have to go back and try it all!
