Midwinta Ball is held by Midsumma Festival, an annual Queer Celebration that brings a mixture of artists and performers together to celebrate queer arts and culture.

This year the Midwinta Ball is set to be even bigger and better with a larger location - the Crown Palladium in Southbank - and more performers than before.

This year's host will be none other than former Big Brother host, Gretel Killeen! Gretel is known as a firm supporter of the LGBTQI community and will undoubtedly do a great job of engaging the audience with her radiant and humorous personality.

My Kitchen Rules star Jordan Bruno will also be visiting from Perth as a special guest and table host. Jordan made national headlines after coming out and proud whilst on My Kitchen Rules, and didn't want to miss the chance to support a great organisation such as Midsumma Festival.

Funds raised from the Midwinta Ball encourage new and ambitious talent in the visual and performing arts to participate in the Midsumma Festival.

More information on the lineup of performances and activities will be released on their website closer to the date. Tickets are available to purchase now from their website, and are already selling really quickly so make sure you get in fast!
