Midsumma Pride March will take over Fitzroy Street and Catani Gardens in St Kilda on Sunday 6 February 2022 from 11am to 4pm. If you're interested in joining this colourful parade, a spectacular act of unity that is Midsumma Pride March, it's best you hurry and register as registrations close on 26 November 2021. Melbourne's iconic event, its Pride, Parade and Party rolled into one. Whether you join on foot or by other means, bring your family, your workmates, friends, lovers or countrymen, this is a March for everyone. It's an event held one week before Melbourne Pride. Just log the date into your diary, and check back on social media and the website as more information will be announced after the Midsumma Program Launch on 22 Nov 2021.

This is a signature event where generally over 8000 marchers usually take to the streets down Fitzroy Street in St Kilda each year, and thousands (45,000 ish) line the streets and balconies along the march route, showing their support. That makes this the best-attended Pride March in Victoria. Dykes on Bikes precede the marching contingent as per tradition, with the march itself led by Boon Wurrung Elders and a Rainbow Aboriginal Float along with the Premier of Victoria, Minister for Equality and the Creative Industries and Commissioner for Gender and Sexuality. Hundreds of young people, generally the most vulnerable, are placed towards the front of the march as a positive and strong affirmation for LGBTIQA+ youth. At the conclusion, everyone descends on Catani Gardens for celebrations, entertainment, DJs and live performances.
