The
Midsumma Festival is a smorgasbord of delights as the LGBTI community celebrate their unique and essential place in the community. Of course, there are so many amazing and outstanding offers sometimes we all just need a little help to sort through them all and decide what to see, so here are my picks for Midsumma 2017. Let's see if you agree.
A NIGHT AT THE MUSICALS STARRING LE GATEAU CHOCOLAT AND JONNY WOO
Le Gateau Chocolat and Jonny Woo
Two of the best cabaret artists belt out ballsy ballads, delightful duets and slaughtered show tunes in a back catalogue of musicals like no other. Hilarious hijinks and shady shenanigans abound as these two massacre the musicals you know and love.
A Night At The Musicals is a tortured love letter full of high glamour, divine costumes and raggedy choreography.

ASH FLANDERS: PLAYING TO WIN
Ash Flanders blends song, story, pop culture and personal tragedy to create
Playing To Win - a show of unrivalled acerbic humour. The night is full of hilarious rumination on show business, broken dreams and human desperation. It is an exorcism of shame.

URSULA MARTINEZ: FREE ADMISSION
Ursula Martinez is a first-rate provocateur and she is on her dirty soapbox, baring her soul. In
Free Admission she builds a wall (literally) between the audience and herself as she reveals her hopes, fears, frustrations, delights and disappointments. With her tongue firmly implanted in her cheek, Martinez celebrates the contradictions and inconsistencies of the human condition.
