Beyond the colourful parades and parties of Melbourne's top annual gay and lesbian festival, there is a vibrant history of the queer community who help shaped the unique culture of the city. In support of Midsumma, the Melbourne Library Service is hosting a series of FREE events that highlight the men who loved men and women who loved women, their struggles, stories and lives that make them an integral part of the world's most liveable city.
