'The time has come, a fact's a fact' (sigh of relief) - THE OILS ARE BACK!

If you've been 'praying to sense and reason' - then your prayers have just been answered: The Oils are coming - Midnight Oil - The Great Circle 2017 - 21st October, so 'workers of the world better run to the top of the mountain'... well, Hope Estate that is!

If it speaks volumes about a person by what it is they have to say, how it is they choose to say it and indeed, the way in which they move, then Midnight Oil (and of course, its enrapturing frontman Peter Garrett) is a commanding and weighty force to be reckoned with. And with such pungent poignancy seeping from every pore of most every lyric, every ounce of power to them I say.

I don't think there would be too many of us, who, back in the day, after having slid our bright blue-coloured Blue Sky Mining cassettes into our tape players and pressed play, couldn't taste the pure inherent goodness that was being fed to us, and on so many different levels. Message received, loud and clear. And deliciously.

Like many other gleamingly gifted Aussie artists/acts we've grown up on, if you've ever been to an Oil's concert (I actually think it might have been my first ever concert — hard act to follow), you just know you don't want it to be your last!

So if you Don't Wanna Be the One to miss out on an incomparable concert event please click here for your choice of ticket options. Because, after all, who doesn't want to be a part of The Power and the Passion?

Special guests performing on the night will be Birds of Tokyo and Ash Grunwald.
