Midland in Western Australia is a suburb of Perth and covers the areas of the Swan Valley and Darling Scarp. Being only sixteen kilometres from Perth's CBD, it is situated at the intersection of the Great Eastern and Great Northern Highways.
For over eighty years, Midland was the site of the railway workshops for the Western Australian Government Railways and the Transperth suburban railways system still has a terminus at the Midland Station. Australian Cricketer Bruce Yardley, who played thirty-three Tests and seven One-Day International Games was born in Midland.
On Sunday 22nd December 2019, the Midland Community is hosting their
on the Midland Oval from 6.00 to 8.00 pm. This is the second year that the carols are being held after a successful and fun time last year.
Please bring a picnic blanket or chair, torch and your best singing voice to enjoy a night of wonderful Christmas Carols. There will be a sausage sizzle and refreshments available for purchase and Santa has promised to pop in for a visit.
Come and join the community while connecting with others in song. This event is FREE.
