Love to eat out? Love to have a casual meal with no washing up or preparing? If you answered yes to either question, then - Caribbean Fiesta is the place to go once a week for the next eight weeks!

Food - you either live to eat, or eat to live - and in my case it is definitely live to eat, hence I will be going to at least one of these weekly events for dinner. I'm not sure which one (or two) - Caribbean food is very tasty and I am tempted to go to this one as a start!



has been on before and is now back for 2018, with the promise that it will be bigger and better than before! It will feature a selection of themed food trucks from across Perth over 8 weeks. Some of the themes include the following:


The first one is Caribbean Fiesta - when you think of the Caribbean, you think tapas, nachos and soul food which will be packed with flavour and colour! As well as this at each event, there will be:




There will be different food vendors and entertainers each week, so make sure you check their Facebook page regularly, to find out which theme is on next.



And you do not need to worry about parking as there will be free parking available at the Leisureplex, however, organisers suggest that you park at the Riverton Forum and walk over, thereby saving the bays for the Leisureplex visitors.

You can also bring your fur babies to this event as long as they remain on a leash and particularly around the food vendors.



It would also be a good idea bring your own picnic rug and chairs.

5.00 pm to 9.00 pm

[b]BACKYARD BBQ**
On Thursday 11th January, the theme will be Barbecue, so if barbecue is your "thing", make sure you get there between 5.00 pm and 9.00 pm, so you do not miss out. Barbecue will include such things as mouthwatering pulled pork, grilled sandwiches, loaded fries and amazing salads!

ASIAN FUSION
On Thursday 25th January, the theme will be Asian Fusion, so if you like Asian food, head on down to Riverton Reserve, with the family and the dog for a good meal!
