As the name of the show suggests, this number one outdoor event in the Mid North Coast of NSW is going to be a good one!



This 3-day Caravan, Camping, 4WD, Fish and Boat Show is from Friday 10th August to Sunday 12th August 2018. Just 15 minutes from Port Macquarie, it will be held at the Wauchope Showgrounds .

The gates will be open 9am to 5pm on Friday and Saturday, and 9am to 4pm on Sunday. Daily entry prices are an affordable $15 for adults, $11 for pensioners and children up to 16 years are free when accompanied by an adult. Tickets are available at the gate (not online).

Last year saw over 200 exhibitors at the show and as it continues to grow each year - this is going to be the biggest and best ever! When we checked out the exhibitor list , there are over 13 A4 pages listed! Yes, 13 pages! Okay, some are doubled up, but this is still huge!



There will be anything and everything you could have dreamed of at this spectacular show. Although we won't reel off (get it, fishing reel... oh, never mind!) all those who will be there to show off their shiny, new products and amazing services they offer, here are a few of our favourites:

There will also be Roads & Maritime offering great advice as well as a massive range of accessories to keep you entertained all day. If you can pull yourself away from all the product displays, there will be free entertainment on all weekend .

Allan Burnett, the reptile presenter for Reptile Awareness Displays of Australia , will be offering life-saving advice and understanding on snack bites. With these quick-witted creatures on display, it's good to know that Alan has 20 years service as an Ambulance Paramedic!



The Australian Travelling Fishing Show will be making an appearance and for those of you who have seen it before, it's great to see what actually goes on under the water. This giant fish tank will have Brett Thomson (two-time ABT Bass Angler of the Year) and Michael Cooke (seasoned angler with heaps of experience and passion) demonstrating different lures, their uses, techniques to use and show how the fish react.

And if you thought these guys would just be throwing a line in over from the side, you'd be wrong. They fish from an aluminium boat with an outboard fitted, giving the illusion of fishing in the wild!



Flair Riders will also be demonstrating their motocross skills. This team of 10 Australian riders are the best at international freestyle trials and perform all over Australia at shows like this.



And just when you thought that was enough, Port Macquarie & District 4WD Club has designed and built their own 4WD Demo Track to demonstrate at the show. They will be showing off their 4WD skills and knowledge for others to learn from across various aspects of 4WDriving.



They will also have a large camp oven cooking demonstration where you can learn to cook up the ultimate camping cook storm!

Land Rover Experience Australia will be demonstrating what looks like the impossible with some of the angles they get their vehicle at.

The local Wauchope Rural Fire Service will be putting on a demonstration, so please show them lots of support for the great work they do.

With so much going on, make sure you empty your brains to take in all this information and clear your diary for the whole day - you're going to need it!

Don't worry about a lack of energy and rehydration either, as that has been fully covered - Cafe Moves, German Kitchen, Planet Macadamia, Recharge Juice and Milk Bar, The Potato Works, Vickers Fudge, Relens Mini Donuts and local clubs will be there to look after you.

If you are looking for accommodation options nearby, for bush camping, check out Timbertown Heritage Park, or Breckenridge Farmstay .

For caravan parks or cabins, the closest is at Port Macquarie where there are a number to chose from .

We're slightly envious of those going this year as we won't be able to make it. We try to get to as many as we can over the year, but we just can't make this one. Boo hoo!
