Perth author Michelle Diener will chat about all things writing at Stories on Stage on November 19.
Diener writes historical and fantasy fiction, with titles including
A Dangerous Madness,
The Emperor's Conspiracy and
Banquet of Lies. She loves crafting new worlds and interesting characters and is looking forward to sharing her journey with the Stories on Stage audience. For an interview with Michelle, visit
Write Note Reviews . I've read and reviewed a number of her books and what stands out is her impeccable research and ability to spin a suspenseful tale.
Stories on Stage is held in the main theatre at Koorliny Arts Centre in Perth's southern suburbs, and the event is going from strength to strength, attracting people from as far as Joondalup. What sets it apart from other author events is the theatre setting, complete with theatre lighting and comfortable raked seating. Authors have praised the event, describing it as "intimate", "well-organised" and "a wonderful program".
The 2015 program will include Brooke Davis, Joan London, Felicity Young and Mark Greenwood. To go on the mailing list for Stories on Stage, simply
email the centre.
Stories on Stage starts at 7pm and costs $15, which includes supper (the home-baked treats are a big drawcard).
Books will be available to buy on the night and one copy of Diener's book will be given as a door prize.
