Highly acclaimed English actor, writer, TV travel documentary presenter, iconic comedian and member of Monty Python, Michael Palin is heading to Australia. In Perth, Michael Palin - Live on Stage will be at the Riverside Theater, Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre , on Saturday 21st February, 2015.



Proudly presented by Lateral Events, this world tour is a mixture of book tour and comedy show, and coincides with the release of volume three of Michael Palin's popular diaries, entitled Travelling to Work 1988-1998.

Michael Palin - Live on Stage is a tribute and a celebration, that not only takes a look at his world exploring journeys, but also his comedy career. He talks about all the high-lights, and low-lights, of travelling, but also includes many stories about his extraordinary life.

He takes a look at his love of comedy, schoolboy days in Sheffield, work on Monty Python, and much more. The show is illustrated with a special selection of photographs, taken during the eight travel series that began twenty-five years ago, with Around the World in Eighty Days.
