MJ History Show
RockCity and Showtime presents "Michael Jackson History Show" starring Dantanio Goodman as MJ. This show will be running at The Adelaide Festival Theatre for one night only on Monday July 18th at 8:00pm.

Goodman grew up in South Africa. From age 9 he was singing and dancing which is what made him the accompished impersonator and performer he is today. He has perfected every detail of MJ's style, dance moves and image. He's the closest thing to the original and enjoys what he does, which just amplifies the performance.

Dantanio says "I has been my dream and vision to star as MJ on a world stage, he has given me so much joy and taught me so much and he is still teaching me today.".

He takes the time to thank MJ for making his lifestyle possible because without him there would be no music, no icon to celebrate and no Michael Jackson.

MJ History Show
Supported by the incredible dancers, Clasina Van Grinsven, Alyica Keane, Nathan Adriaanse and Sandile Zulu, Dantanio recreated routines used in the film clips, including 'Thriller'. The representation of 'Thriller' was incredible. Kept until the encore, it featured dancers dressed as different characters lying dead on the stage, the screens were filled with graveyard scenes and the dance moves were that of a zombie.

The show featured disco, pop and soul in a good combination. When they danced and sang to 'Blame it on The Boogie', they were dressed in disco themed outfits and dance moves to suit. 'Smooth Criminal' featured a gangster vibe with suits and shotgun effefcts and the screens featured shadows performing MJ's best poses.

A standout moment was Dantanio's performance of 'Billie Jean', using a spotlight, rimmed hat and one white glove. This performance had the crowd on their feet before it was over. 'Man in The Mirror' had the audience swaying alone and 'Beat it' had them dancing and clapping. The audience had a great time embracing the show from their seat, or like one baby boomer, who was dancing in the aisle wearing a MJ inspired outfit.

MJ History Show
Dantanio teamed up with his four background dancers to recreate The Jackson 5 and performed favourite hits 'ABC' and 'I Want you Back', all wearing Jackson inspired wigs. If you've seen a MJ tribute before then you know what to expect but if you haven't, then this show is the only one worth seeing.

The show featuring all Michael Jackson's hits including 'Wanna Be Starting Something', Beat It', 'P.Y.T' and 'Man In The Mirror'. Accompanied by an amazing band inclduding Richard Baker, Kyle Thompson, Steve Dennett, Giles Tingey, Hayden Baird and Giselle Bouwer.

This show was incredible and if it returns to Adelaide I know i'll be buying a ticket. 5/5 Stars.
