The difficult choice between wedges and nachos is one you won't have to make at
Mexico City.

Their delicious wed-chos have both on the one dish, smothered in guacamole, salsa and sour cream. My friend and I have a ritual of catching up over nachos but we were so impressed by Mexico City's wed-chos, we may have to revise that routine!

When I caught sight of what appeared to be a slurpee machine churning ice around, I decided that I must have a strawberry margarita. Icy cold and generously sized with the perfect texture, I'd definitely recommend the margarita.

Alongside a selection of dishes perfect to share, Mexico City Restaurant also boasts popular dishes that you would expect of a Mexican restaurant. Pronunciation of the dishes is printed on the menu. Never again will you awkwardly order a "kwee-za-dill-ah" or "fah-gee-tah".
Service was friendly and helpful, with the waitresses coming back to our table several times to check that we were pleased with the food and if we needed more drinks.
A sign on the door boasted an outdoor courtyard, but unfortunately when we visited on a quiet Sunday evening the courtyard was closed. However, we were quite happy inside the cosy restaurant. With an almost surreal mural running the length of one wall, the decor was a strong reminder that we were in a Mexican restaurant.
