Get Your Dose of Vitamin 'T': Tacos, Tostadas and Tamales
Make sure you put Sunday 14th September 2014 in your diary: it's MexFest 2014 day at Fed Square! This is the place to get your dose of 'vitamin T', with tacos, tamales, tortas, tortillas, tostadas and tequila all available. Add to that some Mexican music, dance and crafts, and you have a day of fun that's bigger than a Mexican wave.

Don't miss MexFest 2014 on 14th September!

The Festival kicks off at 11.30am. It's free entry, all are welcome, and it's a family friendly event, with activities for children and adults.

With more than 30,000 people having attended last year's event, Fed Square is going to be one big happy Mexican hat dance for MexFest 2014. The Festival coincides with Mexican Independence Day.

Some of the attractions on the day will be:

- Mexican food being served up by participating Mexican restaurants including: Touche Hombre, Black Toro, La Tortilleria, Taco Bill, Mexico City, Guzman y Gomez, Chingon Taqueria y Cantina, South American BBQ, Salsa's, Paco's Tacos, Mamasita, Santa Ana, Mad Mex and Mesa Verde.

- Live performances of Mexican music by local Mexican musicians, folk dance groups, mariachis, Zumba dancing, live Salsa band LA 45 and more on the Viva Mexico stage.

- Mexican market: a space for authentic Mexican handcrafts, jewellery, clothing, Mexican food products and services.

- Mexicanarte: an exhibition by Mexican artists located at the atrium in Fed Square that will feature paintings inspired by traditional Mexican games, photography of Mexico, Mexican sculptures and traditional costumes.

- Mexican Cantina/Bar: where you can taste traditional Mexican drinks such as tequila Tromba, Corona, Pacifico and Negra Modelo beers. There will also be Mexican wines from Baja California.

- Kids' corner, where children will enjoy activities such as playing music, singing, making piņatas, windmills and painting.
