The bustling new precinct of Coorparoo Square is about to become a hive of activity when Metre Market's Christmas Pop-Up Market spreads itself across the corner of Old Cleveland and Cavendish Road, Coorparoo on Saturday 8 December 2018 from 10am to 2pm.

Carefully curated, you'll find music, art, fashion, homewares, bespoke jewellery and more, including the popular preloved rack sale. Partnered by Women's Legal Service Queensland , stop by their stall and enter a draw to win a Gucci bracelet. Proceeds go directly to the frontline of their free legal and welfare help for women and their children living with domestic violence.

If you'd like to join the Wreath Making Workshop on the same day (Sat 8 Dec), from 11am to 12.30pm, you'll need to book a ticket to work with Flowers by Ola . You have a choice of working from either fresh or dried botanical materials. Price includes all materials and tools, plus some nibbles, and of course, you get to take your masterpiece home.

Please note a minimum of 7 people are needed for the workshop to go ahead, and if it's not reached, it may be cancelled, but you'll be notified prior to the event. There's a 2nd workshop running the day before the Christmas market on 7 Dec from 5.30-7pm if evenings are more suited to you. However, it'll be at a different venue (Brisbane Powerhouse, 119 Lamington St, New Farm) and you can book here .

Far from a full list of stallholders, you'll also find Essentially Me Joey , a lover of essential oils and how they can empower you with natural solutions in more ways than you could imagine. She doesn't just sell beautiful diffuser bracelets, timber pieces and more, she also runs workshops. You can l earn how to use your essential oils everyday to support and nourish your mind, body and soul, and even learn how to make diffuser bracelets at a separate workshop.

Moonko will be there with her amazing fibre art and decor for your home or business. She'll also have keychains and bag embellishments and much more at the Market. Those hanging feathers are one for the macrame lovers; if you're not already, you will be one!

Thicket Designs will no doubt be kept busy with her beautiful henna designs. You can't help but admire how steady their hands are when they're hennaing your body parts. Be sure to check out the lovely Demi at her stall.

There's a whole lot more to look forward to, including handmade toys by Creatures of Yarn ; crystal crowns by Soul Quartz who'll be showcasing her dainty raw crystal jewellery; stunning forever cups hand painted by Hello Lola Ceramics ; and for all your plant needs and kokedamas as an eco friendly gift for someone special at Christmas, you have Max and Mort . These are just a few of many who'll have some exciting stalls at the market for that unique locally handmade Christmas gift.
