Breathe, Conquer, Love, Consume. Remember. Chase. Fuck. Confess. Torture. Die. Repeat.

Seems simple doesn't it?

Staged in a warehouse with grandstand style seating, this is a perfect environment for, what I think, is an excellent example of the resourcefulness of passionate artists. Where there's a will there's a way.

This group of talented young actors successfully led our imaginations through a number of short stories of ancient Greek mythology that had me mesmerised.

The numerous stage props revealed throughout the scenes where cleverly concealed and are brought to life, and the opposite, with a great use of lighting.

The actors are not only talented and accomplished but they are brave enough to get their gear off and get into a tub of water in the middle of winter…bbrr.

Sometimes it takes a while to gain meaning to what you see, hear and feel. To comprehend what it means to you and to understand how you came to the conclusions you did.

In his director's note, Dino Dimitriadis writes "I hope instead that maybe you're stirred, maybe confronted, maybe turned-on a little, maybe disgusted, maybe confused or maybe, if all else fails, find yourself laughing out loud at the bizarreness of it all – this thing we call life." you will walk away from play thinking.

With just over a week to go, I highly recommend seeing this production. Not only will it broaden your life experiences, taking the average night's entertainment somewhere new, it will also contribute and support independent theatre ensuring artists and potential stars get exposure and experience enriching the community and the industry as a whole.
