I had lunch with a mate at Meshiya Restaurant.



The Highlights:

1. Restaurant is located at the corner of QV Building (Lonsdale St). The set up is very friendly, most of the seats/table are besides the window so it will give you a chance to look at the people walking past - which will keep you really entertained. The restaurant is not big and just right for casual lunch and dinner.

2. The food is not disappointing at all. There are different varieties of food to choose from; bento boxs, sashimi, sushi and noodles. There are vegetarian options and chicken, beef and pork dishes. Japanese wine and other basic alcohol beverages are available.

3. The wait staff are great. Customer service wise they are doing well and always have a smile on their face.

4. Cost - Main meals range from $11.00 to $ 25.00. Also various set menus for 2 to 6 people are available as well.

Overall, the food is satisfying and is a great place, especially for lunch dates.
