On December 11th The Tea Tree Gully Hotel hosted Adelaide Comedy artist Merrick Watts along with a line up of all-star comedians. Watts is best known for his part in the famous comedy duo Merrick & Rosso and his involvement in God You're Here, Underbelly and Tractor Monkeys. He really lives up to his reputation featuring funny antidotes and real life stories.

Hosted by comedian Jason Pestell they gave away prizes including the new Fruit Chocs milk, Dave Hughes DVD and Souvenir Jason Pestell mug. Feature acts included the very hilarious Salisbury Primary School comedian Thomas Green who shared funny stories about the children he teaches and their fit mothers.

Other acts included comedians Michael Bowley, Marc Ryan, Patrick Carl and Leigh Qurban. Patrick Carl is Gawler's own Bogan; his stand-up show features stories of his bogan family and surroundings. All acts in this show will feature in the 2015 Adelaide Fringe.

For anyone who missed The Gully show you can still see Watts tonight at The Rhino Room 7pm with opening acts Matt Vesely, Julia Clarke, Jon Brooks, Lori Bell and More and tomorrow night at The Arkaba Hotel 4.30pm with host Amos Gill starring Kel Balnaves, Fabien Clark, Jason Pestell, Nick O'Connell and Gerry Masi.
