Little mermaid fans have the opportunity to learn how to be a mermaid in AQWA's Mermaid school workshop . Personally, I found this to be one of the more intriguing holiday events planed for 2020. And, it is a great way to start a new decade.

'Future Mermaids' will learn some fundamental mermaid skill which include:

Safety rules of mermaiding
Relaxation and underwater breathing techniques
Yoga stretches and mermaid movements
The art of mermaid makeup

Notably, Little Mermaids will learn some important waters skills, which include:

Equipment fitting and mono-fin tail
Equalising techniques
Controlled seated entries
Back floats/glides
'Dolphin' kicks
Duck dives
Side kicks
Tail slaps
Bubble kisses and horizontal bubble rings

The workshop runs for 3 hours from 9:45 am on 21 January 2020. Unfortunately, all tickets have sold out for the 22 January 2020.



Parents are not required to attend, however they can purchase a discounted entry ticket to AQWA if they would like to watch the water skills training. Furthermore, kids will be using the Mahina tail mono-fin, which allows legs to disengage when required to.

Bookings can be done online . Workshops cost $129.00 per child. Light Refreshments will be served.
