An introduction to sculptural modelling techniques
Learn sculpture modelling techniques at Australia's first and finest art foundry, conveniently located in Fitzroy.

Meridian's own in-house figurative sculptor Darien Pullen leads this unique short course to give you an introduction into the lost-wax casting process and the techniques required to create your own original wax model for casting into bronze.

Held in a fun and encouraging atmosphere, this engaging workshop offers an unparalleled grounding in sculptural modelling techniques and is ideal for all skill levels.

All materials and tools are included and best of all, your unique sculpture will be cast in bronze and patinated by Meridian for you to gift or keep forever!

The unique hands-on course is taught in a small class size, over two, 3 hour sessions on the weekends, ensuring each student receives personalised guidance and instruction. Please visit and follow the prompts to see all workshop dates listed until May 2020.

This is a rare opportunity to learn the art of lost-wax casting, a process that has little changed over the last millennia.
