Have a hole in your heart that needs to be filled? Why not fill the void by meeting and possibly adopting adorable cats from MeowMe Cat Cafe. All the occupants are rescue cats from the not-for-profit rescue, Paws & Claws adoptions.
When I visited in the afternoon, there were seven cats, most of which seemed tired and were content to be snuggling in their respective spots. A lot of them were fine to be gently petted and quite friendly, although I startled one when I patted her torso and she bit me. Learn from me and don't make sudden movements!
As time went by, some of them began to wake up and were more interactive. There were various personalities - most half-heartedly responded to our attempts at vying for their affection with toys. They'd keep one paw tucked and the other vaguely clawing at the targets. On the opposite end, there was cheeky Randall, who was all spoiled napping on someone's lap, and the next minute bouncing and jumping all about the room. Too cute!
There's plenty of street parking along Glen Osmond Road and down the side streets. Maybe a little bit of quality time is all you need to recharge and make your day. Maybe you'd prefer to have a pet all to yourself.
