Passionate Lives Training Pty Ltd invites you to join their Nationally Accredited Mental Health First Aid Training (MHFA) on 9th and 10th December.
Delivered by Passionate Lives Training Founder and Primary Master Trainer, Trys Reddick, the two-day evidence-based training course is designed to help a person who is developing a mental health problem, or who is in a mental health crisis.
Like physical First Aid, Mental Health First Aid is given until the person receives professional help or until the crisis resolves.
By participating in this enlightening course, you will learn risk factoris, how to recognise signs of depression, anxiety, PTSD, suicidal ideation, psychosis and substance use disorder, and practical strategies to assist until help arrives.
An average of 2,500 people suicide in Australia alone, of which 75% are male. This is an opportunity to learn what to say and more importantly, what not to say to someone who discloses they are having suicidal thoughts.
This is two days of your life you won't regret spending. Invest in better confidence that may help someone in need and quite literally save a life.
Participants will come away with a manual with further resources and a Certificate of Accreditation.
The course will take place on Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th December, 9 am to 4 pm at The Platform, Level 3, 256 Adelaide Terrace, Perth, WA 6000.
Reserve your place at Eventbrite.com.au.
