Held on the 16th of March, June, September and December, Menai Community Market, a classic craft market, will next be held on 16th December, and is definitely worth a visit. There are over 70 stalls selling a tempting array of products, ranging from fresh fruit and vegetables, plants, and lovingly home-baked delicacies including rustic sourdoughs, cakes, sauces, jams and chutneys, condiments, pickles, fudge and nougat, to handcrafted items such as luxurious soaps, garden art, woodwork, hats, bags, clothes, jewellery, children's shoes, toys and more. There is even a giant slide and pony rides for children.

Facilities
The market is wheelchair accessible and held on a fairly flat area on the outskirts of a cemented pathway which encircles the park. The park is surrounded by leafy trees and there are places to sit and rest or to sit and eat. Toilet facilities are plentiful, and clean and there is a playground for the children, as well as a skateboard park - plenty for both the oldies and the youngsters.

Free parking is available in Menai Marketplace.

Dog-friendly
The market is dog-friendly; I saw several people accompanied by their four-legged friends.

Parc Menai Market is located in the park at the southern end of Menai Marketplace which is located on Allison Crescent, Menai.
