In the expectation of inspiration and in the spirit of participation you will be encouraged to pen your own short notes to'The Woman Who Changed My Life'. Stamps and envelopes will be provided to help you forget e-mails, texts, tweets and all those other modern and impersonal communications and to re-learn the personal art of letter writing. There can be no better way to show you care than to say it in a hand-written letter that comes from the heart and not the keyboard.
In an effort to help get those creative juices flowing, a glass (or two) of some very nice wine will be available helped immensely by the aesthetics of the beautiful surrounds of The Zoo situated in Brisbane's loveliest wood-floored attic. This is one Sunday afternoon that could change your life for the better.
All funds raised go to Edgar's Mission, a not-for-profit sanctuary set on 153 peaceable acres situated just outside Lancefield and nestled in the tranquillity of the Macedon Ranges. The Mission cares for rescued farm animals and creates a humane and just world for humans and non-humans.
