I've made it to my life's goal - the old age pension. Now I write for fun. Hope you enjoy reading.
To write a letter is human, to receive a letter: Divine

If you have ever wanted to write that perfect prose for the most important woman in your life then here is a fabulous opportunity for you and your friends to get together and re-learn the age-old art of letter writing. Now in its fourth year, Men of Letters will be back at The Zoo, 711 Ann St, Fortitude Valley on Sunday, 8 November, 2015. Doors open at 3.00pm and the fun commences at 3.30pm.

Tickets are $25.00, plus a booking fee, per adult and can be purchased here.

Come along and enjoy an awesome afternoon's entertainment and link up with some of the most progressive, enlightened and forward-thinking sensitive new-age guys around. The Men of Letters who will be providing your inspiration and guidance as you re-learn the heartfelt art of letter writing are:
Anthony Albanese, aka 'Albo', Federal Labor Member for Grayndler;
Andrew Boe, Barrister;
Christopher Currie, author and bookseller;
Trent Dalton, feature journalist;
Andrew McMillen, journalist and author;
Hugh Parker, stage and screen actor;
Damien Power, comedian;
Ryan Squires, executive chef and owner of Esquire;
Kris Stewart, Artistic Director at Brisbane Powerhouse;
Sam Wagan Watson, poet and author; and
Jason Whalley, musician, vocalist, producer and activist.

These 11 Men of Letters will each write and read a letter to 'The Woman Who Changed My Life' as an inspiration to you to write how you really feel to that special woman in your life.

In the expectation of inspiration and in the spirit of participation you will be encouraged to pen your own short notes to'The Woman Who Changed My Life'. Stamps and envelopes will be provided to help you forget e-mails, texts, tweets and all those other modern and impersonal communications and to re-learn the personal art of letter writing. There can be no better way to show you care than to say it in a hand-written letter that comes from the heart and not the keyboard.

In an effort to help get those creative juices flowing, a glass (or two) of some very nice wine will be available helped immensely by the aesthetics of the beautiful surrounds of The Zoo situated in Brisbane's loveliest wood-floored attic. This is one Sunday afternoon that could change your life for the better.
