The historical Richard Randall Art Studio in Mount Coot-Tha is presenting 'Memories in Watercolour', an exciting free solo art exhibition by Pinjarra Hills Artist, Nev Logan, from 7th to 10th October.
Nev Logan first started to paint in watercolours when he retired from his position as an Electrical Engineer with the Queensland Electricity Commission in 1987.
Prior to retiring, Nev travelled extensively through Western Europe with his young family in 1976.
After retiring, Nev continued with his love of travel in Europe as well as Asia and the USA. He now uses the photographs from all of his trips as inspiration in the production of his watercolours.
Nev's favourite overseas city is Venice and he has been fortunate to visit this magical place 15 times! Several Venetian paintings will be in his latest solo exhibition.
'Memories in Watercolour' will probably be Nev's last solo exhibition, but he hopes to continue participating in group exhibitions with his wife, Barbara, and friends.
'Memories in Watercolour' will be open to the public from Thursday 7th to Sunday 10th October at the Richard Randall Art Studio, Mt Coot-tha. Viewing hours are from 12 Noon on Thursday and 9 AM to 4 PM Friday to Sunday.
Memories in Watercolour is FREE to attend and affords the community the unique opportunity to support a talented local artist, as well as enjoy the Brisbane Botanic Gardens this spring.
