Entry from Hectorville Road

Just for something different, why not take the kids to a 'secret' playground, one hidden away from the streets of Campbelltown with brand new play equipment and away from the hustle and bustle of the streets?

Melville Grove secret playground is accessed by lane ways from surrounding streets including Hectorville Road.

Park close by on the street and head down the pedestrian laneway past the murals by local Campbelltown artists to find farm-themed play equipment, green grass, tables and chairs and a water fountain. In addition to the swings, there's a windmill for the kids to climb and a tractor-slide to climb and slide around on.

There's even laid back wooden chairs for the adults to lounge in under the shade while the kids play. Red Mill Bakery and Cafe is nearby on Hectorville Road if you want to pick up a coffee and enjoy the day, just like in this brilliant article about playgrounds close to good coffee.
