Australia's largest tropical watergarden, Blue Lotus Water Garden, is currently presenting an exciting new floral event - the inaugural Bloomin Begonias and the Autumn Flower Season - plus eggciting family entertainment, including a thrilling dinsaur show, fun pantomime shows and Easter egg hunts these school holidays!

Don't miss this stunning showcase of Melbourne's largest display of begonia flowers spread throughout 14 acres of landscaped water gardens containing tropical plants, lakes, ponds, creeks, waterfalls and fountains!

Garden lovers will be delighted by the 'Trail of Begonias', an all-new interactive experience that leisurely winds its way through 1km of garden paths featuring 300+ hanging baskets (creating possibly the largest floral hanging basket display in the country).



Adding to the experience are thousands of magnificent autumn blooms planted throughout the grounds, including sunflowers, salvias, impatiens and more!

Best of all, the display of waterlily flowers the gardens are so famous for continue to put on a show - especially the Giant Amazon Waterlilies (Victoria cruziana) regarded as one of the largest species of waterlily in the world!



Other garden highlights include the Tropical World & Kakadu Lagoon with native lotus and waterlilies from northern Australia, along with a host of other exotic tropical plants.

As well as a large fairy garden with fantasy cubby houses, a rainbow slide, giant flowers and mushrooms, a miniature fairy village, a fairy queen throne, flower boats, a wishing well, Todd's tree house and a frog hollow.

Blue Lotus Water Garden also has the April school holidays covered with a great lineup of family-friendly entertainment for kids of all ages!

Toby the T-REX Dinosaur Show

Toby the T-REX Dinosaur Show comes to Blue Lotus Water Garden on the weekend of Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th April + Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th April at 11 am.

Families are invited to join Toby and his best friend as they explore all things prehistoric in this lively and interactive show by the Real Dinosaurs Company. The engaging 30-minute show is followed by another 30 minutes of photo opportunities with Toby.

Toby the T-REX Dinosaur Show is suitable for the whole family and children aged 3+.

The Dinosaur Show ticket also includes entry to the gardens.

Egg Hunts with the Easter Bunny & Friends, Pantomime Shows + More!

The popular Easter egg hunt is back and will take place in the fairy garden with the Easter Bunny alongside other classic storybook characters. This popular activity is sure to be great fun for children!

Children will search for artificial eggs and then swap what they find with the Easter Bunny for 4 hen-size chocolate eggs! Each egg hunt runs approximately 30 minutes, and there will be plenty of photo opportunities.

There will also be Storybook Pantomime with Alice in Wonderland, Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts and their friends on selected days. This fun and interactive show runs for approximately 30 minutes in Frog Hollow.

Face painting is also available at an additional fee.
