Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to discover and enjoy bite sized treats of sugary goodness supplied by two of Melbourne's finest cupcake bakeries.
Cupcakes have made a huge comeback in recent years and are no longer just for children at parties. Whether you're in Melbourne for business and need that 3pm pick up, or wandering around this beautiful city and want a snack, these companies have locations spread over Melbourne, are near public transport and bake their cupcakes daily.
Little Cupcakes now has three great locations around Melbourne and offers affordable treats for you to enjoy. With your choice of mini cupcakes ($2.20) or standard cupcakes ($4, $4.50) and a wide variety of flavours, picking one cupcake is near impossible. The most popular flavours are Red Velvet, Belgian Chocolate and Cookies & Cream.

Although the Degraves Street location is cosy, the store is always busy but the staff are very friendly and efficient. You are given the choice of eat in or take away, both options fun. If you choose to take your snack away with you, your cupcakes are placed carefully in a cute cardboard carry box and if you decide to dine in, the cupcakes are placed on an old-fashioned looking plate with a dainty fork to attack your snacks with. You can wash your delicate treat down with some tea or coffee.
The cupcake bakery had three locations in Melbourne but can also be found at Chadstone and Highpoint Shopping Centres. Although you don't get the option of mini cupcakes, their standard cupcakes are $3.80 each or $42 for a dozen and are also delicious. Their flavour board is easy to read and will have you salivating as you struggle to make your decision. They also give you the option to eat in or take away.
