Serious sweet tooths will know that for the best lollies, supermarkets just don't cut it. We have found some great places all over Melbourne where you can fill up goodie bags with a whole manner of sweets, but we're looking for the best. From old-style sweet stores, to sugar-filled superstores, help us find Melbourne's best candy store.

The Original Lolly Store in Carlton is a great place to start. You can enjoy homemade fudge, or a host of traditional lollies including boiled sweets, licorice, gummies, and lollypops. There is also a range of chocolates for you to enjoy. This old-style sweet shop is not only great for buying sweets, but it is also fun to visit, especially the kids who will love the old world feel. Real sugar addicts can also order hampers full of all of the tasty sweets. Old-style sweet shops are becoming one of the most popular ways to sell lollies, and there are some great ones all over Melbourne.

You might like to do your shopping at the Biggest Lollie Shop In The World. This huge superstore is full of all sorts of lollies, including traditional sweets, and the American favourites. While you're at it you can also stock up on a huge range of party supplies, this is the perfect place if you're planning a candy land party. To get the best of both worlds you can also pick up a piņata and fill it with some of the tasty sweets that you get here.

Sugar Station doesn't have the charm of the Original Lolly Store, but it is probably the most fun place to grab some sweets. They have a huge range of American candy, and traditional sweets too. Their stores are fresh and bright, and the colourful candies will beg their way into your bag. Sugar Station is about embracing all things sweet, and letting yourself indulge.

We're sure there are so many other stores all over Melbourne that are serving up sweet treats, we just need your help finding them. So where is your favourite place to shop for sweets in Melbourne? We're willing to try them all, so let us know the great ones you've discovered. Let us know where you indulge your sweet tooth, so that we can find the best candy store in Melbourne.

On my last visit, I bought edible LEGO Blocks and Chocolate Pasta which were both a huge hit.

There are no "candy stores" in Oz, we only have lollyshops here. There are candy stores on the other side of the Pacific.
