Friendly people, temperate weather with a change of seasons, the parks & gardens, the free entertainment in them in summer, the enormous range of things to do. There is always something going on! If you like getting out & about, music & the arts, muticultural festivals, food & wine , sustainability or garden or museum exhibitions...there is truely something for all tastes. Also if you want to drive out of the city there are bush & beach options easily reached. I've lived here for 20 years and have loved every minute. Not to mention the great cafes & coffee!
