Melbourne's premiere theatre company since 1953, the Melbourne Theatre Company is also "one of the largest theatre companies in the English-speaking world", producing over a dozen plays each year.

From comedies to catastrophes, international hits to local masterpieces and with acting greats such as Sigrid Thornton, Richard Piper and writers like comedy trio Santo Cilauro, Tom Gleisner and Rob Sitch, the MTC's 2014 line-up is a season full of promise.

With packages starting from just $210 for seven plays, you won't even need to agonise over which ones to see. Of course, if there's just one play in particular you have your heart set on or you're only in town for a few days, single tickets are also available from set dates for each play (check the links below for dates).

Spread over three locations at the Arts Centre, Southbank Theatre and Princess Theatre , there is a performance space to suit every production.
