In the grips of the current tennis events , are you feeling a little more than fired up about the sport? Perhaps dream about being the next Nadal or Federer? or even secretly wonder if you could do it better? Dreams start with the first step, and what better way to saunter in and dip your toes to test the waters than during Melbourne Tennis Week which runs from 5-11 February 2018.

Eight participating Councils, together with Tennis Victoria , give you 39 tennis clubs across metro Metropolitan Melbourne who will offer a range of FREE tennis activities to get you on the court and give tennis a go!


Check the website for participating Councils and associated flyers. That's 8 Councils, 39 Clubs and 115 Events of free tennis that includes adult tennis coaching, junior coaching, racquet hire, video analysis and more. Check the flyers thoroughly , as various Clubs and Councils have their own stipulations i.e. City of Melbourne offers Adult and Junior Coaching to the first 8 to apply etc.

Other Councils like the Moreland City Council for instance, caters to tennis equality with a LGBTIQ community program. The Boroondara Tennis Month has Clubs within the City of Boroondara opening their courts for casual usage and free access during the month of February 2018. Check here for participating Clubs. What a great way to see if the racquet fits, before you wear it.
